Do you accept insurance?

I am currently only credentialed with Highmark. I do not plan to credential with any other companies in 2025. This process is new for me as a sole practitioner in private practice, so I appreciate your understanding and patience as I learn to navigate the insurance world.

Upon request, I will provide you with a monthly Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses.

Please contact your insurance company directly for information regarding your eligibility and reimbursement rates.

Here are some questions you can ask your insurance company:

1. Do I have out-of-network benefits?

2. What is my deductible?

3. At what percentage will I be reimbursed?

If you utilize this option, please be aware that a mental health diagnosis is required and will be listed on your Superbill.

How much do you charge for sessions?

My standard rate for a regular 50-60 minute session is $125. For our first session which is the initial intake session, the rate is $140 as this is a more detailed interview which typically lasts between 60-80 minutes in length.

Do you offer in person sessions?

Yes! I do offer in person sessions and prefer to meet in person for sessions if possible.

Do you offer telehealth/video sessions?

Yes! I will continue to offer telehealth sessions to those who need it. It provides a great back-up solution in the event that either you or I get sick - we can still meet virtually!

How do telehealth sessions work? Do I need Zoom or another video platform?

Accepted Answer

Telehealth sessions are conducted through the Simple Practice platform. You will receive an email reminder with a unique video link for your session and at the start of your session, you can join the video appointment, much like Zoom or other video conferencing platforms. Simple Practice is the HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) system that I use for scheduling, paperwork, secure messaging, billing and payments, as well as my telehealth platform. It's convenient and keeps all of your information in one place.
